Our Dental Treatments

What we currently offer

Dental Procedures

We are currently offering Hygiene Consultations and Dental Check-Ups as part of our Private Dentistry Plan. These appointments are designed to support preventative care and maintain good oral health through personalized treatment.

With regards to NHS Dental Care, we are currently waiting for more information as NHS is now working through the contract and site visit. This may take 4-6 weeks and we will keep people updated. The contract will be focused on only Thistlemoor patients and likely to be the most vulnerable such as patients with learning difficulties.

Eligible patients will be contacted directly nearer to the time once the contract has been finalized, and further details will be provided then.

If you have any questions about our services, please feel free to contact our team by emailing us at smiles.dental@nhs.net

Frequently Asked Questions

You should have your teeth checked and cleaned at least twice a year, though your dentist or dental hygienist may recommend more frequent visits.

Regular dental exams and cleaning visits are essential in preventing dental problems and maintaining the health of your teeth and gums. At these visits, your teeth are cleaned and checked for cavities. Additionally, there are many other things that are checked and monitored to help detect, prevent, and maintain your dental health.

A dental hygiene consultation focuses on the health of your teeth and gums. It includes an assessment of plaque buildup, gum health, oral hygiene habits, and recommendations to prevent cavities and gum disease.

During your visit, the dental hygienist will review your oral health history, examine your gums and teeth, check for signs of gum disease, and provide personalized cleaning and care advice.

Hygiene treatments are generally comfortable. If you have sensitive teeth or gums, we will take extra care to ensure your comfort.

We understand dental anxiety and strive to create a calm, comfortable experience. Please let us know your concerns so we can accommodate you.
